To keep your aluminum railing looking as new as the day it was installed, follow the steps outlined in the RailFX Cleaning and Maintenance Guide. Simple maintenance and cleaning should be performed annually or twice annually for those near the coast. Steps include cleaning the railing with a mild, non-abrasive soap and water solution and rinsing with fresh water to remove any residual soap.

Inspect the installation on a frequent schedule, taking note of discoloration and stains.
Discoloration can and should be removed by cleaners recommended for stainless steel. We recommend the use of E-Z Clean, a two part cleaner and protectant. Frequency needed to use the product will vary completely with your location and climate.
You should expect to do regular maintenance to clean and continuously apply the protective waterproof lubricant. Regular maintenance should prove to extend the life of your cable railing system.
Note: Never use steel wool or harsh abrasive elements.
This warranty does not cover scratches, abrasions, chemical alterations, acts of God or nature in any manner of the surfaces. This warranty applies only if the RailFX products have been installed as per the proper installation instructions, and is null and void if altered in any way from the proper installation instructions outlined by RailFX.

RailFX reserves the right to have the product returned to their manufacturing facility for full inspection with shipping and handling costs borne by the claimant. We will replace or repair the product after assessment of damage has been fully vetted. Costs related to dis-assembly or installing materials will be the responsibility of the homeowner. The warranty on all RailFX coatings products are not assignable or transferable.
